A short drive from the airport

Ampera Bridge and the Musi riverside: approximately 14 km
The bridge is the image most people carry of Palembang and sits at the centre of the riverside district. Allow considerably more time in the late afternoon, when traffic heading into the city thickens.
Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium: approximately 11 km
The older city-centre ground, useful as a bearing for anything in central Palembang. Guests travelling for a match usually find the surrounding roads slow on event days.
Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium: approximately 18 km
Part of the Jakabaring sports complex south of the river, and the venue for the larger events. The distance looks long on paper but moves quickly outside peak hours.
Jakabaring Aquatic Stadium: approximately 18 km
Also within the Jakabaring complex, so a trip to one venue there generally covers the other. Guests attending competitions tend to leave the hotel early to stay ahead of the crowd.
