There are four rooms to choose between, and the choice is simpler than most hotels make it. Superior and Deluxe are the two categories, each available with one queen bed or two twin beds, which means the only real questions are how many people are sleeping in the room and how much floor space the stay needs around them.

The standard does not move between categories. Every room is air-conditioned and fitted with a flat-screen television, a private shower, towels, slippers and complimentary toiletries, and every room can be prepared as non-smoking when the request is made at booking. Family rooms are available, and the front desk will talk through the arrangement rather than leave it to a checkbox.

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double is the room that suits one night between two flights. A single queen bed sits under air conditioning that runs steadily rather than in noisy bursts, which matters in a city that stays humid long after dark. The private shower comes stocked with towels, slippers and complimentary toiletries, so a guest travelling on hand luggage alone does not need to unpack anything at all.

Ask for it as non-smoking when you reserve and it will be prepared that way. The flat-screen television covers the hour before sleep, the desk phone reaches reception at any time of night, and the room sits behind key-card access on a floor covered by the building's own security team.

Superior Twin Room

Two separate twin beds change who this room works for: colleagues on the same trip, friends splitting the cost of a night, or a parent sharing with an older child who has outgrown sharing a bed. Everything from the Superior Double carries across, including the air conditioning, the private shower and the same set of supplies.

The floor plan opens up around the two beds so both guests have their own side, their own light and enough clear floor to keep a suitcase open without anyone stepping over it at six in the morning.

The Deluxe Double gives a longer stay somewhere to spread out. Business travellers use it when paperwork or a laptop needs a surface that is not the bed, and guests who arrive one evening and leave two mornings later tend to find the extra floor area worth the difference.

The fittings match the Superior category exactly, so the upgrade buys space rather than a different standard of comfort. Family-room arrangements can be discussed with reception at the time of booking, and children of all ages are welcome, though cribs and extra beds are not available.

Deluxe Twin Room

Two twin beds inside the larger Deluxe footprint is the arrangement families ask for most, because it keeps everyone together in one room without anyone sleeping badly. It also works for two travellers on a longer stay who want the beds separated and still want room to move.

Air conditioning, a private shower, towels, slippers and complimentary toiletries come as standard here as everywhere else. The additional space around the beds is what makes the early-morning repack possible without waking the other half of the room.

How rooms are prepared before you arrive

Check-in runs from two in the afternoon until midnight and check-out closes between noon and one, though a guest arriving on a delayed flight should simply call the desk rather than assume the room is gone. Reception is staffed through the night and the room stays held.
