The stay - facilities and services

Services and facilities, described plainly

This page is written the way a guest would want it explained at the desk, in full sentences rather than a grid of icons. It covers what happens from the first coffee of the morning through to the person still awake at three, and it says clearly which parts of the stay carry an additional charge so nothing arrives as a surprise at check-out.

What is not listed here is not offered. The hotel does not run an airport shuttle service and makes no claims about anything it cannot reliably deliver, because a promise broken at six in the morning is worse than one never made.

Morning and dining

Breakfast is a buffet, and it opens at six in the morning rather than the more usual seven. That one hour is the difference between eating properly and boarding a flight on nothing, and it is the reason the kitchen starts when it does. Fresh pastries and fruit are set out first, followed by the warmer dishes as the room fills.

Room service runs through the day for guests who would rather eat upstairs while finishing a report or repacking a case, and the shared lounge beside the dining area stays open for anyone waiting out the hours before a late departure. Coffee, a television and a chair that is not a hotel bed turn a five-hour gap into something tolerable.

Comfort and convenience

The building is air-conditioned throughout and served by a lift, which matters more than it sounds when a family is moving luggage to an upper floor after a long journey. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are in place at the entrance and through the common areas, and non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Beyond the rooms there is a shared lounge with a television, a garden and a terrace that come into their own once the evening heat drops, and a children's playground that quietly earns its keep with families breaking a long trip. Free on-site private parking sits within the same gate as the building, so a rental car stays under the same security as the guests.

Guest support

Everything below is available to every guest. Where a service carries an additional charge, it is stated in the same breath as the service itself.

A front desk that never closes

Included for all guests

Reception is staffed around the clock, which is the single service that makes every other one workable. A flight that lands at two in the morning still meets a person rather than a locked lobby, a key that stops working at midnight is replaced immediately, and a guest who needs to leave before dawn can settle everything the night before.

Concierge help with the practical things

Included for all guests

The desk helps with luggage, explains which route into central Palembang is moving at that hour, and answers the ordinary questions that decide how a day goes. The team does not operate tours or transport itself, so what you get is honest local advice rather than a commission-driven recommendation.

Security through the night

Included for all guests

Twenty-four hour security works alongside CCTV coverage in the common areas, and the guest floors run on key-card and key access. Combined with parking that sits inside the property rather than on the street, it means a car and a suitcase can both be left where they are without the usual low-level worry.

Laundry when a trip runs long

Available for an additional charge

Laundry is handled in-house for an additional charge, which suits the guests who arrive for two nights and end up staying five, or who need one clean shirt before a meeting. Ask at reception for turnaround times, since they depend on the hour the load is handed over.

Meeting and banquet space

Available for an additional charge

There are meeting and banquet facilities on site, used mostly for small corporate sessions and family gatherings tied to travel. Pricing and layout are arranged directly with the hotel, and the cost is quoted before anything is confirmed rather than added at checkout.

Arrival and stay notes

The house rules, with the reasoning behind them, so a booking can be made without having to phone first to check.

Check-in
2:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Rooms are ready from two in the afternoon, and the desk accepts arrivals until midnight. If a flight is delayed past that, call ahead and the room stays held for you.

Check-out
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Departure runs from noon to one in the afternoon, which gives a guest on an evening flight the whole morning rather than a rushed exit.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome

Families make up a good share of the guests here, and the playground and family rooms exist for that reason. Nobody is turned away on age.

Cribs and extra beds
Not available

The hotel does not carry cribs or roll-away beds, so sleeping arrangements for a group are best worked out with reception before the booking is finalised.

Minimum check-in age
None

There is no age restriction on the person checking in, which occasionally matters for students and young travellers passing through Palembang alone.

Pets
Not allowed

Animals cannot be accommodated in the rooms or common areas, with no exceptions, so travelling pets need arrangements made elsewhere.
